NOTICE OF PENDING ORDINANCE
PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given that the following Ordinance was submitted in writing, introduced, read by title and passed on first reading at a meeting of the Township Committee of the Township of Green held on Monday, June 1, 2026, and will be further considered for final passage at a meeting of said Committee at 7:00 p.m., Monday, June 15, 2026, at which time all persons interested both for and against said ordinance shall be given an opportunity to be heard concerning same. During the week prior to and up to and including the date of such meeting, copies of the full ordinance will be available at no cost and during regular business hours at the Clerk’s office for the members of the general public who shall request the same. The summary of the terms of such ordinance is as follows:

CAPITAL ORDINANCE FOR IMPOVEMENTS TO HEDDEN ROAD, BY THE TOWNSHIP OF GREEN IN THE COUNTY OF SUSSEX, NEW JERSEY, APPROPRIATING THE TOTAL OF $190,000.00, OF WHICH $77,493.00 IS FROM THE GENERAL CAPITAL-RESERVE IMPROVEMENTS TO ROADS AND $112,507.00 FROM NJDOT 2026 MUNICIPAL AID PROGRAM
Purpose: To appropriate funds for improvements to Hedden Road in the Township of Green.
