PARKS Green Township is home to several parks – The most significant of them is EverGreen Park on Kennedy Road.  The facility includes a playground, pavilion, soccer fields, baseball field, softball fields, basketball court, and the new County Connector walking trail.  Wesley Field, also on Kennedy Road, is home to Little League Baseball.  A baseball field with plenty of parking is maintained in this location. Papa Park is located on Scenic Drive in the Lake Tranquility section of the Township. A small field and playground, also with plenty of parking, are included in the park area. Fireman’s Field is located behind the Fire House and Greendell Post Office on Kennedy Road.  A simple field is maintained at this site.   MEETING/EVENT FACILITIES The Green Township Municipal Offices at 150 Kennedy Road are housed upstairs in the old, Primary School building.  A large meeting room downstairs is used by several organizations including the Green Township Senior Club and the Green Township Historical Society.  The room is available on a first come first served basis to non-profit organizations only. The old Trica Airport is available on a limited basis.   USE OF FACILITIES – PARK AND/OR MEETING ROOM All facilities are available for special use.  Please click here for the “Use of Facilities” form which includes the Park Ordinances and Fee Schedule. Please fill out the form and bring it to the municipal building, the application will then be processed for approval (insurance information must be provided). The Hold Harmless Form MUST be notarized. Please DO NOT sign until you are in front of a Notary Public. The Municipal Building has multiple Notaries for your convenience. Depending upon the nature and size of the event, please understand there may be charges associated with the rental. The charges will be assessed in accordance with the Township’s expense for providing the facility for your use.
