Allamuchy Green Website:
AGFAS serves Allamuchy, Green and portions of Frelinghuysen. Anyone interested in joining is asked to call Louis Caruso at 973-579-2567. New members welcome.
The purpose of the council is to assist the local Emergency Management Coordinator in the preparation of the Municipal Emergency Operations Plan and in other areas as determined by the Coordinator as necessary. The members appointed for the year 2017 are as follows:

The Emergency Management Team together with the Office of Emergency Management Coordinator, Ken Lang and the Township Committee continue to prepare for future emergency/disaster events.

Green Township has joined a shared service with Frelinghuysen Township for Office  of Emegrency Management.  Like them on facebook: Frelinghuysen-Green-Office-of-Emergency-Management.

Generators - Generators have been installed at the Municipal Building and the Road Department. 

Community Emergency Outreach – Previous updates indicated that there were two areas in need of improvement: 

Communication The Township has contracted with SwiftReach Networks, Inc., an emergency alert system. The system will be used to call, text, and email during times of emergency. In order to be included you MUST register!  Simply find the icon for Swiftreach 911 on the Home page and follow the link!

Manpower The Township continues to seek volunteers for its new Community Emergency Response Team (CERT). If you are a resident of Green Township and are 18 years or older and are interested in providing disaster/emergency support to your neighbors and community.
